Renaming a person's OU to another

Find person in admin client interface and choose Rename.

Just like you would for any other rename.

Request Move to New Certifier

The interface is a little odd but you have to first choose the cert of the existing OU. Then choose the new OU in the dropdown. This will create the admin request in the admin4.nsf.

Here's the problem

The 'Move Person's Name in Hierarchy' shows in the admin4.nsf but then NOTHING HAPPENS after that. So you don't get any errors, you get nothing. What is confusing is that this is different than renaming someone's last name. That process just goes and you don't have the additional step.

Here's the secret step

You have to open the view in admin4.nsf called "Name Move Requests". You then select the new document for this person and click the action bar button 'Complete Move for selected entries'. Aha! This triggers the name change and the person document is updated with the new name and then the person will get the name change on next connection to the server.
