| Requirements | Installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of IBM WebSphere on Windows 2000/2003. Responsibilities include new application deployments, troubleshooting of Java applications, server tuning, etc.
Manage Domino application environment, including installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance, security, capacity planning, etc.
Install, configure and manage Domino cluster environment to support web-enabled Domino applications
Interact with and support development teams through application changes/deployments, while monitoring the web environment to maintain availability.
Assist development teams throughout life cycle on engineering application architectures and standards.
Support development teams on application changes and deployments.
Coordinate and interact with other groups within Global Technology Services to provide timely support and service.
Provide level 2 & 3 support to Help Desk and Network Operations Center on application issues per established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Open, manage, and resolve application issues with external application vendors.
Create and maintain technical documentation for the web environment, including network diagrams, installation and configuration procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and operational procedures.
Provide Help Desk and Network Operations Center documentation/procedures for resolving common or recurring problems.
Provide Disaster Recovery services for the environment by maintaining recovery inventory, plans and actively participating in DR testing.
Monitor application performance and provide recommendations to improve performance when appropriate.
Establish application monitoring standards and ensure applications are proactively being monitored to reduce downtime.
Work with Network Operations Center and Monitoring team to fine-tune system and application monitors .
Contribute to capacity planning, testing and rollouts.
Develop, communicate, and coordinate plans for application, OS, and hardware upgrades
