BS/BA or Masters in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs expert analysis, design, development, and implementation of highly complex IBM Lotus Domino application programs; serves as a technical leader and system integrator; performs additional duties as assigned. Works independently/ remotely and tracks progress on multiple concurrent projects. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Primary technical lead and developer of new software products and applications on the leading edge of established knowledge and standards. 2. Conceives, designs, prototypes, and tests new methods, code, database architecture, and models. 3. Defines architecture requirements and performance standards to meet or exceed management and customer specifications. 4. Leads research and development of prospective applications and projects. 5. Identifies and formulates resolution of complex IBM Domino/ SQL Server related interface issues. 6. Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel. 7. May serve as the primary customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis. 8. Provides development guidance to other software engineers and may be called upon to provide training and orientation of high level developments concepts. 9. May provide expertise to multiple projects and tasks. 10. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. 11. Provides advice on development methodologies and supporting software recommendations. 12. Participates in special projects as required. 13. Expert knowledge in: Lotus Script, Formula Language, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, database modeling, CSS, HTML, DHTML, IBM Lotus/Domino R 6.5x, R 8, Domino Administration, Microsoft Project, SDLC methodology, and technical writing skills. |
