PROJECT PROFILE:
Ø Simulation of Timer and Hpi peripherals: Platform C and C++
DESCRIPTION: The operation of HPI and timer Peripherals (TMS320C6000 DSP) can be observed working in a software created processor, allowing you to find and fix problems before a processor is programmed. Simulator is used for testing out applications. For the manufacturing of a new product we may have to combine different peripherals. For fast development of the product these peripherals are manufactured by different groups and are latter combined together. If one of the group is ready with their peripheral they don’t have to wait to test the working of their peripheral or for the other groups to finish their part. They can directly test this using the simulator. Hence this project is just a part of a bigger project in Texas instruments which is used as a platform for further development.
